In this course, the principle of instrumental analysis for various pollutants from different environmental media will be studied. Furthermore, experimental skills for the analysis of pollutants will be obtained.

2 Sampling, Storage, and Instrumental analysis
3 Data analysis
4 Student presentation 1
5 Air sampling and pollutant analysis
6 Water sampling and pollutant analysis
7 Soil sampling and pollutant analysis
8 Mid-term exam
9 Soil sampling and basic analysis (pH, organic carbon, water content etc)
10 Air sampling and basic analysis (HiVol, PAS, Ammonia)
11 Water sampling and heavy metal analysis using AA
12 Water sampling and organic pollutant analysis using HPLC
13 Soil extraction and clean up for organic pollutants
14 Organic pollutant analysis using GC
15 Overview and Student presentation 2
16 Final exam
