Various mass spectrometers (MS) are required for my research to understand the behavior of trace toxic chemicals. Also, high-volume air samplers (HiVols) and other air samplers are used for collecting fine particle samples. An accelerated solvent extraction system (ASE) and Turbo-Vaps are used in the sample pretreatment process. The following instruments are owned by my lab (EACL) or the UNIST Environmental Analysis Center (UEAC), where I am the head of the center. The instruments of the Department of Urban and Environmental Engineering (UEE) that are mainly used by my graduate students are also listed.
